I wish to announce some great news, and the newest member of the Cryogenic Entertainment staff…
Richard!!
Richard is a skilled musician that we feel has the musical chops to really make CURE an instant classic. What he lacks in formal experience and talent in video games, he makes up for in pure unadulterated enthusiasm.
Out of all of the applicants and solicitations for musicians for CURE, Richard stood out when he said that “he has long since possessed a love” for game development, and that is “knows many of the rules” for what makes for great music and that “we all sort of do” – and he’s right… even with the untrained ear people can suss out what is ‘good’ and ‘bad’ music.
He was insistent on being signed onto the project ASAP, and that he would bring his unique set of talents to the game that simply no one else possesses. He was very open about how he felt about this project, and he was very adamant to communicate that to us in a way that we could comprehend.
He said, without a shadow of a doubt that he was going to see the project through all the way to completion and that he wouldn’t let us down – and we really like that passion. We also signed a non-compete agreement so that other game companies could not use his artistic services – so he could spend all of his time working on CURE. Also we were assured that we would not be sorry if we chose him, and that he would not say ‘goodbye’ to the project, nor lie and hurt Cryogenic Entertainment’s impeccable credibility.
Now, he claimed to have known about us for a long while, and that we have obviously been wishing to acquire their services for some time but that we were just ‘too timid’ to make a formal agreement; and that we both knew about what was going on, and we both knew about CURE and how to play it (it sounds like he has been in the closed beta and have played the tutorial at some point).
And he said if we had any doubts about how emotionally invested and dedicated that he would be to CURE, to not state about a visual impairment that we possess. He were pretty insistent about ‘not giving us up’ and not ‘letting us down’.
You can see their whole video application here.
Welcome to CURE, Richard. We look forward to working with you.
