Dev Blog #17 – All things in good time

Nothing new to report for this week.
Between using the Gene Profile Editor (as described in Dev Blog #11 – Generating Genes), adding all of the different Genes to the game, making them readable by the player (as described in Dev Blog #10 – Teaching a computer English), while also balancing (as described in Dev Blog #14 – Making it bad so it can get better: Character Progression) all of the stats (as described in Dev Blog #13 – Explaining Stats)… and other necessities for genes,… we really haven’t added anything new this week.
It’s still been a lot of hard work, and it has taken a number of weeks to fully implement… But so far we are really happy with the result!
The combination of: stats, gene generation, genes functioning,… all have made it so we really have to release all three of those things at the same time; which means this process will take slightly longer than we typically would like, but we are sure it will be well worth the wait!
